Well it has finally come to pass. After 2 years of warning, and 2 years of mother not heading the warnings of what would happen if she didn't improve her house keeping we have finally been invaded by hordes of the little vermin. True to her usual way of doing things, it wasn't something that she could be bothered with until it affected her directly. For example, seeing one of the bastards running across the living room. Yes gentle reader, that is correct, the living room. For the last 24 hours I have run to the store to keep getting more traps as I am now the rodent version of Michael Myers. I must say however that the D-Con no-see-um traps are great. I don't want to have to deal with the little furry corpses and am way to much of a softy and in the end feel sorry for them. The cats in the house are useless, they are like a row of people watching tennis. Their heads turn back and forth as they watch them mice from here to there and it seems to amuse them. It also keeps them from going into the traps and Lilly keeps tripping them for apparently lack of anything else to do on her part. Hopefully we will be able to get this issue under control before it becomes a health issue. "And how did you spend your Christmas break? Oh? Bubonic Plauge you say?" Luckily I have found no evidence of them down in my area of the house and that is not really all that surprising since it is colder down here and they don't have the food resources down here.

On a happier note I did go see Narnia last night and it was spiffy I must say. The effects were fantabulous and they didn't go and hit you over the head with the christian undertones that are in the story. I have to say with the way mister nutjob Pat Robertson was hyping it that it was going to be way over the top religion wise. I was relieved that this was not the case.

*sigh* off to check the traps again. At this rate I could have enough for a pair of slippers in a couple more days

Well the term is almost over.......

Well I only have one test and 4 finals to go and the term will be over. The only final that is going to throw me I think is the one for public speaking. Go Figure. I get A's for the speeches but I'll be damned if I have been bothered to do any of the reading for the course. So I think I am going to end the term with 2 A's and 2 B's which isn't to shabby considering this is my first term back to school and I worked through most of it. ye-haw! Though I joined the GSA here, that's the Gay Straight Alliance for those of you that have been living under a rock for the last 10 years. It was fun and I think that it will be able to do good things if they can stay together and people don't find themselves under pressure to shy away from the group because of the prevailing attitudes in the area. This is hicksville after all. But all in all it's going to be a good thing to be involved with during the year

Well for some unknow reason it hadn't occurred to me that so much time had passed since I had last written in this silly thing. I have finally gone back to school and am in fact writing this from the school cafeteria. Ya gotta love wi-fi. Anywho off to class for me and I will be back. Maybe.

Well boys and girls I have finally gotten off my ass and am actually doing some work on the domain name that I bought way back in October. Granted there isn't much to do by way of social activity in the great rolling vistas of Roseburg Oregon unless one is interested in cultivating the traditional crops here. Mullets or ignorance. Me, I don't have an interest in either. Anywhos TTFN people.
